This Dairy Constructions project was a 60 unit rotary dairy facility at Willow Grove near Warragul, Gippsland. The project specifications include: a 600 cow holding yard, undercover vet facilities, a raised office, staff room, a mezzanine floor for viewing and extra storage, amenities room and a spoon drain and effluent pond system.
The ability of Dairy Constructions to provide a turnkey solution from design through to development allowed Ian to continue managing the farm. Dairy Constructions were able to provide the cow flow expertise and flexible design parameter to meet Ian’s requirements.
This Dairy Constructions project, completed in September 2015, is a greenfield site construction, integrated with existing farm infrastructure. Located in Murray Bridge SA the project included design and construction of dairy parlour, cattle yarding facilities, cow handling facilities, loading race, office, staff room, VAT and wash-down area, engine room and work area.
Important to the Dohnt family was Dairy Constructions capacity to provide detailed specifications and managed all trades on site to a fixed budget. Another feature was Dairy Constructions ability to manage all interactions and design requirement with the council.
Dairy Constructions recently delivered a 60 unit rotary facility for Australia’s largest milk producer – The Van Diemen’s Land Company.
Dairy Constructions, though our design and delivery process, were able to solve a number of previous issues for VDL which included facility quality and durability, total project management, wash down times, cow flow and OHS concerns. Dairy Constructions were able to set a new standard of facility for the Van Diemen’s Land Company.
The scope of works includes construction and management of a replacement 60 unit rotary. The facility integrated with the existing yard included the Dairy Constructions Sunken Milking Area, fold down AI platform, holing yards, offices, the Dairy Constructions safety walkway, staff, machinery and storage rooms as well as extensive rectification works to their existing facilities.
Australia’s leading milking facility was completed for The Midfield Group in July 2015. Dairy Constructions were entrusted with delivering Australia’s finest dairy facility. Important to the Midfield Group was Dairy Constructions ability to execute a total project solution under tight budgetary and timeline constraints. Dairy Constructions proven history with The Midfield Group provided the assurance that Dairy Constructions was capable of completing the facility to the highest possible standard.
The total project delivery includes the Dairy Constructions sunken milking area, a sunken centre, basement underpass, stainless steel platform, fully enclosed VAT room and Engine room, automated backing gate, double 3 way draft gate system, integrated flood wash and drainage system. The facility also incorporated a 600 cow feed pad.
Dairy Constructions completed Tasmania’s most advanced dairy for Clovelly Farms. Based in Bridport Tasmania this high specification 54 unit dairy facility included design and construction of dairy parlour, Dairy Constructions sunken milking area, cattle yarding facilities, the Dairy Constructions safety walkway, undercover vet facility, calf shed, feed pads, sediment trap and effluent management system.
Dairy Constructions corporate solution offered Clovelly farms the total project management answer. Farm manager Mark Miers was able to focus on the farm while the project was trusted to Dairy Constructions for delivery. Clovelly Farms required the highest possible finishes for the lowest possible price.
